TIME MANAGEMENT BETWEEN WORK AND STUDY

Managing your time between work and studies can be hard. The most popular question that other students have been asking me is 'Are you able manage your time between study and part time work?'
Most of the times, I would have answered that question with your-typical-usual-reponse like 'Yes,You just need to have a schedule and manage your time wisely' or sometimes I would only say 'Yes, all you need is determination and proper time management.'

TIME MANAGEMENT. This is the only thing that worries any student before they decided to do part time job or not. (Kidding. it's not the only thing that worries us but it's the most common)
But anyway, most of us are contemplated to work because we're afraid that we will neglect our

studies.

Honestly, it was also been bothering me too at first before my roommate persuaded me into working. And although it seemed hard at first, I personally think that anyone can do it as long they put their mind and soul in whatever they're doing.

However, it is also a trend nowadays for student to start an online business if they want to earn any extra cash. In fact, a lot of my friends start selling things through igshop be it colored contact lenses, makeup tools, blouses and etc. But I think, the most popular igshop sale item is headscarf and shawl.(from where I live). Heck, even  both of my older and younger sisters are trying to sell scarves and shawl right now.

As for me, I've tried many methods to earn some extra cash in order to support my daily expenses at college since I didn't apply for any loan plus my application for scholarship was unsuccessful. I've tried to sell women's blouses, headscarves, prepaid top ups and etc. Nothing last long. (Sigh).

Alas, I've settled myself working as a part time barista at small coffee shop. The pay was good and I don't need any capital money as I'm not doing any business. Sometimes, the manager will treat us; workers into dinner and we get to try any new drink samples. I've been working there since 2014 until now, and most of the baristas working there are also students like myself. The point is, any students are capable to work part time as long as they're not neglecting their studies.(At least it seemed that way from my personal experience).

If any of you are thinking of doing part time job right now, you totally have my full support since I think anyone can do it- or at least give it a shot before you decide want to quit or not. Good luck!
